Help Hope raise money

Hey everyone, I’ll be participating in Greg Olsen’s HEARTest Yard charity 5K for the second time on May 16th, and I’m also collecting pledges for my run again. All donations will go to the HEARTest Yard, a great charity that supports children with congenital heart defects in the Carolinas. Please help me reach my goal by donating to this wonderful cause—any amount is greatly appreciated! 

Thanks to the incredible generosity of family, friends, and neighbors, I raised $1,011 last year, far exceeding my initial goal of $200! I’m not asking to hit that number again (but if we did, that’d be awesome), but like I said above, whatever you’re comfortable giving at this time is more than enough.

If anyone’s interested, I ran this race in 40:21 last May and improved to 35:13 at the Turkey Trot. I got my time down again at the YMCA Corporate Cup 5K on March 7th to 34:51, which isn’t as much as I’d like in all that time since Thanksgiving, but I’ve been dealing with a lingering injury that happened early December. Not quite back to 100% yet, but the other day I ran 5 miles for the first time since I got hurt, so I’m definitely feeling better, and I hope to set another personal best at this coming race!
