My Story…

I'm a living kidney donor that wants to share the importance of organ donation. And I'm willing to answer any questions regarding living donation to the best of my ability. Or I'll seek the right person to assist with any questions. Im recovering addict of methamphetamine for 26 years been clean for 3 years now and was honest with transplant teams to assure proper procedures were followed to allow me to donate a kidney to my childhood friend Josh. It's amazing to see him back to living life and raising his daughter. If you're not able to make it to event please donate and help us reach our goal for LifeGift and spread the word of organ donation and it's importance.

The LifeGift 2nd Chance Run honors organ, eye, and tissue donors in 109 Texas counties in North, Southeast, and West Texas.

While celebrating the lives saved and offering hope to those still waiting, the event raises awareness of the need for organ, eye, and tissue donation across the state.
