Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Mission
The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is a character-building organization dedicated to strengthening Christian principles of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for everyone regardless of ability to pay.
Fletcher Foundation Mission
The Fletcher Foundation celebrates the memory and spirit of Emily Fletcher, an avid runner and talented track athlete whose life was tragically taken in a car accident when she was 21. The Emily Fletcher Memorial 5K, Emily’s Run, was established to both celebrate her life and raise funds for two college scholarships in her name as well as donations to the Auburn Public Library, the Auburn Nordic Ski Association, The Androscoggin Land Trust, The Stanton Bird Club, Tree Street Youth, New Beginnings, and a donation to ELHS families in need at Christmas.
Bridge Run Foundation Mission
The Bridge Run Foundation encourages and supports active outdoor experiences for area youth to promote health and well-being. The proceeds from the races provide local middle school students with an opportunity to attend programs that foster an appreciation of our natural environment and instill a sense of self confidence.
