Description
We’ve signed up for Island Prostate Centre's Annual Father’s Day Walk / Run for Prostate Cancer in support of their important work here on Vancouver Island. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, June 21st.
Trust us — we know prostate cancer isn’t the easiest topic to talk about.
But here’s the reality: 1 in 8 men on Vancouver Island will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
We know eight men. You know eight men.
That statistic makes this personal.
We want to ensure the men in our lives continue to have free access to critical support when they need it most. And this is where we’re asking for your help.
By signing up and committing to raise much-needed funds, we’re helping ensure that patients can access essential services when they are needed.
Because of you, one of those eight men can connect with Island Prostate Centre’s Nurse Navigator program.
Because of you, he can hear expert speakers share guidance on nutrition, treatment options, and self-care.
Because of you, when a man is diagnosed, he won’t have to face it alone.
Every dollar truly matters — and every dollar stays right here on Vancouver Island.
Thank you for helping us ensure that every person diagnosed with prostate cancer has access to the care and support they deserve.
