My Story…
By now, you probably know my story (via CaringBridge), but you may not know how the Angel Foundation helped me. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I was worried about how my nieces would react when I lost my hair during chemo. My therapist recommended the Angel Foundation, to help explain cancer to kids. I got 3 childrens kits for FREE! The kits helped me explain (my cancer) to my nieces - I was sick and the medicine would make me lose my hair. Kits are great - age-appropriate with activities and a stuffed animal. And that's just ONE example of the solutions they provide. The Angel Foundation does so much more for cancer patients.
Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as me, with such an amazing support system - all of you! Please help me support others going through cancer treatment, so all can be "stronger than cancer" (slogan on my shirt).
Thanks so much for supporting this important cause! 🩷
❤️, Tami
Description
I'm walking in the Hope in Motion 5K to support Minnesotans going through cancer treatment. Please support me with a donation to Angel Foundation so we can ensure local adults with cancer have access to emergency financial assistance, education, and family support programs while they focus on treatment and healing. Thank you so much for supporting this cause that is important to me!
