My Story…
I was diagnosed in 2022 - somehow it feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago. Since then, I’ve been in the OR eight times, with countless procedures and unbearably painful days. This time last year, I was in one of the hardest seasons of my life - excision / bowel resection surgery, hard complications, long and difficult hospital stays, an ileostomy and eventually a reversal. 2025 tested me in every way. I am 1 in 10. I spent over a decade being told my pain was “normal.”
Endo is more than a bad period - it’s a full-body disease. It has changed me a lot, but it has also shown me strength and a deeper appreciation for the people who continue to show up for me, love me, and support me through it all.
Thank you for being here.
