My Story…
I’m walking to support endometriosis research and awareness - a condition that has had a huge impact on my life.
In March 2025, I had a total hysterectomy at 31 years old after years of unexplained symptoms that significantly affected my quality of life.
Before my hysterectomy, I spent 2–3 weeks out of every month dealing with severe brain fog, overwhelming exhaustion that made me sleep through alarms and need naps just to get through the day, debilitating cramps, and intense leg and back pain.
Since my hysterectomy, I’ve regained so much of my quality of life and have more good days than before. I still experience cyclical hormonal flares at times, including exhaustion, brain fog, and localized cramping where endometriosis lesions have returned, but I’m grateful to be in a much better place than I once was - and especially thankful to have so much of my autonomy back.
I’m walking to help raise awareness, support research, and advocate for better understanding, diagnosis, and treatment for everyone living with endometriosis. 💜
