My Story…

This is my first Pride in Minneapolis after moving here last August so I am excited to join in on this event to build community and celebrate myself and all those who identify within our LGBTQIA2+ community. I set a goal of $281 because according to TGEU (Trans Europe and Central Asia), "281 trans and gender diverse people were reported murdered between 1 October 2024 and 30 September 2025" - according to global data. I will run this race in remembrance of those who cannot celebrate Pride with us any longer - but remain with us in spirit, energy, and memories.
