Raise money for Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association
For over 27 years, the Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association (FRAFCA) has supported the health and well-being of urban Indigenous peoples in Surrey through a wide range of culturally relevant programs and services. FRAFCA serves vulnerable community members—children, youth, families, Elders, women, singles, and gender-diverse individuals—by offering support in housing, homelessness prevention, food security, complex care, wellness, early learning, family services, and cultural connection. Rooted in both Indigenous traditional knowledge and Western practices, FRAFCA operates with cultural sensitivity and safety, ensuring care that addresses the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the community. Many individuals engage with multiple programs over time, creating a seamless continuum of care. As a trusted partner and advocate, FRAFCA also hosts an Indigenous primary health care clinic and works with community agencies to bridge gaps in mainstream systems where cultural safety may be lacking.
