Amy's House

Amy’s House provides free accommodations for families who must travel more than 100 kms to Edmonton for cancer treatment.

Today, Amy’s House consists of three fully furnished homes located side by side in Edmonton’s Queen Mary Park community, just minutes from the Royal Alexandra Hospital, University of Alberta Hospital, and the Cross Cancer Institute.

Each home welcomes one family at a time, typically for extended stays ranging from two to six weeks, depending on treatment schedules. Designed to feel like a real home — not a hotel — the houses provide full kitchens, laundry facilities, comfortable living spaces, and the privacy families need to rest, recover, and be together.

By removing the burden of costly accommodations and exhausting daily travel, Amy’s House eases the emotional, physical, and financial strain placed on families during one of life’s most challenging seasons. Our goal is simple: to provide comfort, dignity, and peace so families can focus on healing.
