My Story…
Some challenges are worth taking on because of the people you get to stand beside.
My wife and I have signed up to join some good friends in a hill climb to raise money for Hope Mission. The challenge is to climb the equivalent elevation of the Matterhorn!!! This sounded like a much better idea when we first agreed to it!
For our friends, though, this climb is very personal.
Their daughter has spent more than a year in Hope Mission’s women’s addiction recovery program, and they have seen firsthand the difference that the people, support, and programs at Hope Mission can make in someone’s life. Hope Mission does far more than many people realize... addiction recovery and housing support to meals for kids, after-school programs, summer camps, health services, and support for people who may feel like they have run out of options. So... when they decided to take on this challenge as a way of giving back, we wanted to climb alongside them.
We’ll be doing the climbing, but we’d love to have you be part of the team. If you’re able to donate, every contribution helps Hope Mission continue doing the kind of work that has meant so much to our friends and their family. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this with others would mean a lot too.
Time to start climbing.
