My Story…
Hey there, I'm Morgan Wilde, and I will be attempting to climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest ( 8,848 vertical metres) to raise $8848 for Celebrate Recovery this September.
I know the deep pain addiction can cause, not only for the person struggling, but for an entire family. Celebrate Recovery has given me more than sobriety; it has given me a place to heal, grow in my faith, find freedom, and begin changing the story for my own children.
For me, this climb represents a decision I’ve made in my own life (to end the cycle): The cycle ends with me.
Every step represents choosing healing over hurt, freedom over addiction, and hope over the patterns that have been passed down through the generations before me.
My goal is to raise $1 for every metre I climb as a way of giving back to Celebrate Recovery, so it can continue to be a place where others find the same hope, healing, community, and freedom. 8,848 metres. $8,848 that I did.
One step at a time. Climbing for change because the cycle ends with me.
Thank you so much for your support and being apart of this climb with me!🤎
