Running My 2nd Half Marathon to Leave Kincardine Better Than I Found It!

Dear Friends:

On October 4th, I will be lining up at the Point Clark Lighthouse to run 21.1 km along the lakeshore, finishing at the iconic Kincardine Lighthouse.

This will be my second half marathon since taking up running in 2025, but this race carries a special meaning for me. As many of you know, our house is currently on the market, making this our final fall in Kincardine.

I’ve always lived by the simple philosophy of leaving a place better than you found it. While my time living here is coming to a close, my connection to this community isn’t. That’s why I have set a goal to raise $5,000 for the Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation.

Every dollar raised directly supports our local hospital expansion and helps bring Bruce County its very first MRI—a vital advancement in local healthcare that will benefit you and your loved ones long after I’ve moved!
