My Story…
Please consider supporting me on this 5km run in an effort to raise funds for McMaster University’s research of Sarcoma which is a rare malignant cancer that develops in the body’s connective tissues, including bones, muscles, fat, nerves, tendons and blood vessels. Cancer has impacted my family, friends and neighbours. Our next door neighbour, Claudia and Alan Brown lost their eldest child, Jonny, to this awful disease at only 19 years young! Jonny received chemotherapy treatments at McMaster Children’s Hospital, as he bravely battled this disease however in the end, his battle was lost. Jonny’s Gold Ribbon Run is helping to ensure individuals in our region facing sarcoma diagnosis have the best chance possible. Thank you for your consideration.

I’m participating in Jonny’s Gold Ribbon Run in support of sarcoma research at McMaster University. This cause is incredibly important to me, and I’m proud to be part of a community coming together to make a difference.
If you’re able, I would truly appreciate your support - every contribution helps advance research and improve outcomes for patients and families. Thank you for being part of this with me.
