The Run for the Door 5k is an opportunity for us at Open Door Ministries to raise funds and awareness for the mission and work we do here. We exist to to address poverty, build communities, and cultivate followers of Christ in Denver. 

I am the director of Esther House, a two year Christian faith based transitional housing program for women in crisis. Women enter our program from all sorts of backgrounds including homelessness, addictions, domestic violence, trafficking, financial crises, mental health crises, etc. Our goal over two years is to come alongside these  brave women, understand their challenges and barriers, and work toward holistic healing - physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, vocational, etc. God has done and is continuing to bring about incredible life change through our program. We invite you to partake in supporting our work, as donors are how we continue running!
