My Story…
I will be Hiking for Hospice in memory of my Aunt Lynn, who spent her final days at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth after an eight-year battle with cancer.
Over this last year, our family has seen firsthand that hospice care extends far beyond end-of-life support. Through counselling, grief groups, and compassionate care, the Hospice has continued to walk alongside us even after her passing. Along the way, we’ve formed meaningful friendships and met so many other families whose lives have been touched by Rotary Hospice in the same profound way. In grief, they created not only support, but community.
The kindness, dignity, and comfort Aunt Lynn received is something I will never forget. Supporting the Hospice feels like a meaningful way to honour her life and give back to a place that gave so much to our family and to so many others navigating loss and grief.
