Help Corey raise money

This fundraiser is very close to my heart. It honours my father, a firefighter known as “Shrek” or the “Gentle Giant,” who proudly helped keep our community safe. After we tragically lost him in an accident, his fellow firefighters, family and friends came together to keep his memory alive.

What began 8 years ago with only 3–4 teams has grown to 22 teams of roughly 10 people, with more supporters joining every year. Seeing it grow reminds me just how many lives my father touched.

This year, we are proudly raising funds for Epilepsy Ottawa, helping support individuals and families affected by epilepsy in our community. Our team has become one of the top fundraising teams, and we want to raise the bar again!

Every donation, big or small, helps an incredible cause while keeping the Gentle Giant’s memory and this amazing tradition alive.
