My Story…
This year, I’m running the Miles for Migraine 5K for two reasons close to my heart. First, migraine disease affects millions of people, disrupting careers, relationships, and daily life — yet it’s still often dismissed or misunderstood. Every dollar raised helps fund research, patient support, and education so we can change that narrative. Second, this race is personal for me: after knee surgery, staying active and rebuilding my strength has been one of my biggest challenges and proudest wins. Every mile I run now is a reminder of how far I’ve come — and a step toward my long-term goal of one day crossing the finish line at the Boston Marathon. Running this 5K isn’t just about supporting a cause I believe in; it’s about proving to myself that recovery can lead to something even stronger. I’d be grateful for your support, whether that’s a donation, a share, or cheering me on at the starting line.
