I’m running this 5K to support Lydia Home and its Safe Families program through the Associate Board. Lydia Home serves children and families experiencing trauma and instability by providing foster care support, mental health services, and programs that help keep families safely together. Safe Families works to prevent children from entering foster care by surrounding families with a strong support system during difficult times—offering temporary hosting, mentorship, and resources when they’re needed most. Every dollar raised helps provide safe, stable environments for kids and critical support for families in our Chicago community.
