I get to jog in this 5K because someone said yes. Sixteen years ago, an organ donor chose to give life to someone they didnt know, and because of that choice, I’m still here. I’m a double‑transplant recipient, living and moving on the strength of their gift.This year, I’m not just walking. I’m trying to jog because their yes made it possible. Every step I take honors the donors who gave me a second chance and the recipients who carry those yeses forward.Their gift is my motion. Their yes is my stride.
