Help Bretta raise money

I am walking for my grandson, Tyree Jackson.

Tyree was killed in a pedestrian car accident in November 2022. He was deeply loved by me, and he loved me back so much. He was a good boy who had just begun living his life until it was taken.

Tyree made the decision to become a donor after speaking with my daughter, Summer, about it after her husband was killed in a car accident just one year prior. That choice is who Tyree was.

He was an outgoing young man studying child development. He had always been an advocate for the “Littles” - teaching them gymnastics, supervising them at the YMCA. He cared for children and they loved him?as well.

We walk for him to raise money and awareness for Donor Network West. This cause is so important to our family At the same time, honoring what he chose to do and the gifts, he chose to give to others.

Last year, we had the honor of meeting Isabell, Tyree's heart recipient. It was a very emotional time, but at the same time so comforting to hear his heartbeat again inside of her. That moment showed us what donation truly means - life continuing.
