One of the most vital organs in the human body is the kidney. Over the years, there are many factors that can affect how well our organs function. Out of the many reasons, I would like to highlight three that are especially important to me. First, just a week back, my nephew was admitted to the emergency room all of a sudden due to a muscle tear, which led to protein breakdown. This then caused complications involving his kidneys, liver, and heart. Thankfully, he is doing well now. This experience made me realize how important it is to stay hydrated and how a lack of water or fluids can seriously affect the body. Second, my husband has been prediabetic for the last 11 years. This has made me more aware of how important it is to take care of our health, especially if we enjoy eating. It is equally important to make time for exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Third, but not least, I have a few gynecological issues that are currently affecting my ability to pass urine properly
