My Story…
The Aversa family is once again supporting the 5K for the Cancer Center at Griffin Hospital. My daughter, Monica Aversa Velez, is putting together our part in inviting those who have participated in the past and others that we believe might be interested. I look forward to the October 24th event, and Monica and I will be in touch with you soon.
Our personal experience with the Cancer Center was one of caring and help when Dr. John Aversa was fighting his cancer at the Center. We knew at the time that a cure was not an option, but the care he received there was one of compassionate aid in prolonging his life.
