My Story…

This cause is personal for many of us, which is why Hell on Heels has proudly supported Run Against Violence every year since 2020.

We’re a team of runners and walkers, made up of people who have been directly or indirectly impacted by family and domestic violence. We all have our own reasons for taking part, but we share the same belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported and valued.

The reality is that family and domestic violence continues to impact far too many individuals and families across our communities. It’s time we looked after each other better, checked in on our mates, supported those doing it tough and continued to stand up against violence in all its forms.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be clocking up the kilometres and raising funds to support the amazing work of Run Against Violence. If you’re able to donate, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support.

We’ve been part of this movement for many years and we’ll keep showing up until we see real change. We believe that together, we can create safer communities and brighter futures for everyone.

Description

Help give young Australians access to healthy relationship education.

During the 2026 Broken Hill to Sydney Team Chase, 100% of donations made via registration and fundraising pages will go directly to NAPCAN, funding facilitator training, program adaptations, and the implementation of program delivery systems. Donations over $2 are 100% tax-deductible.

Run Against Violence has partnered with the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) to ensure that every Australian teenager has access to high-quality, respectful relationship education.

Love Bites is Australia’s premier program, and over the past six years, Run Against Violence has invested $565,000 in its national expansion. This is the largest investment by a non-government entity in the program's history. As a result of this investment, 1,068 program facilitators have been trained across 360 local government areas in Australia, with 60% located in regional, rural, and remote communities.
