Charley was a very special student whom I had the privilege of teaching. Despite the challenges she faced, she brought so much warmth, strength, and joy into our classroom each day. Charley had a gentle spirit and a unique way of connecting with others that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Her smile could brighten even the hardest days, and she taught us all important lessons about patience, kindness, and resilience. Charley’s presence made our classroom a better, more compassionate place. It is hard to believe that we are approaching a year without her, and she will always be remembered with love. I feel grateful to have been her teacher and to have shared in her journey, even for a short time. Her memory continues to inspire me every day.
