"I am filled with joy" (Ps 126)

Every day, I see this scripture; white letters etched against a simple weathered wood background.  Pam painted it at one of her “girl excursions” & some of you were there with her.  The reading reminds us that even in challenging times, joy is still found.  Pam found joy in family, friends & helping others.  This plaque is her enduring testimony.

We’re entering year 6 of the Courage Dear Heart Team & once again it’s time to rally around the annual GOCA Teal Trot to bring joy to others through supporting the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA) in raising awareness & early detection for ovarian cancer.  Sadly, many women have ovarian cancer 1 to 2 years before they're actually diagnosed.  Just think, if through our support, we could impact at least 1 family; what joy there would be in helping save a life.  Please join our team to bring joy to others through awareness, education & early detection.

* Our team name comes from C.S. Lewis' book "The Chronicles of Narnia".  "Courage Dear Heart" were the words that Lucy heard when facing an immense challenge.  Pam shared those words as she offered encouragement & joy to others facing difficult situations.
