Our story…
Thank you for all of the support over the last several years in helping raise awareness for ovarian cancer research and funding. This fundraising is important now more than ever as more and more women are being diagnosed every day and there is still no test and still no cure for ovarian cancer. The 2026 Atlanta Teal Trot is the largest ovarian cancer event in Georgia and is coming up. I would once again love your support for #TeamFredaV in honor of my mom, Freda Virji and her ovarian cancer journey. This annual walk is hosted by the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA) whose mission is to increase awareness and educate women and their families as well as the health care community about risks, symptoms, and treatment of ovarian cancer leading to earlier detection.
