My Story…
Hello friends,
On Sunday May 31, 2026, I will be participating in my 4th annual #VaughanWalkforLyme in support of the G. Magnotta Foundation for Vector Borne Diseases.
Did you know!? I am like thousands of Canadians who suffer from untreatable #ChronicLymeDisease, many of whom have debilitating symptoms that prevent them from daily activities, taking care of their home, families and many who are unable to work? Our Canadian healthcare system is failing #LymeDisease patients across the country and one of the primary reasons for this is due to outdated diagnostic testing, updated treatment protocols and a lack of knowledge about this rapidly growing infectious disease by our health practitioners.
As many of you know, I’m battling #ChronicLymeDisease which has completely changed my life; hence why this charity and fundraising walk is very important to me. I’m also walking for my fellow #LymeWarriors who are unable to participate due to their debilitating symptoms; some of which are bedridden or immobile - they deserve to be supported and their voices heard!!
My personal fundraising goal for this year is $200, as the need for this life-saving research, updated diagnostic testing and treatment is so desperately needed for all Canadians!
I greatly appreciate your financial support and bringing much needed awareness to Lyme Disease and the G. Magnotta Foundation. The G. Magnotta Foundation for Vector Borne Diseases goal is combating Lyme and related diseases for all Canadians. Established in 2017 at the University of Guelph.
