Help Catherine raise money

Since I was a teenager, I’ve lived with migraine with aura. For those who may not know, migraine with aura is more than “just a headache.” Before the pain begins, I experience neurological symptoms that can be frightening and debilitating. My vision and peripheral vision often disappear or become distorted, making it difficult to see straight. Sometimes I see what looks like droplets of water or flashing visual disturbances that can last around 30 minutes. I also experience numbness in my face and hands before or during attacks.
Once the migraine pain starts, it can last anywhere from 6 to 24 hours for me, followed by an exhausting “hangover” feeling the next day. As I’ve gotten older, my migraines have unfortunately become more persistent and more disruptive to my daily life.
Migraines are invisible to most people, but the impact is very real. The pain can be completely debilitating. I’ve had to miss important events, cancel plans, and adjust the way I live because of them. It affects work, relationships, family time, and even simple everyday moments.
I’m doing this fundraiser because migraine disorders deserve more attention, more research, and more specialists. Millions of people live with migraines, yet there still aren’t enough doctors in the field or enough answers for those suffering every day.
