My Story…
The Pillas participate to honor and remember their twin daughters, Annabelle and Alexandra, and support the NICU at Umass Memorial. Alexandra is their angel baby who passed during pregnancy as a result of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). Annabelle was born 6 weeks premature and received care at the Umass NICU. As an avid runner, mom saw the 5K as an opportunity to tie many life aspects together while supporting a local hospital and local families, like her own. In 2019, the TDD (now known as Tiny Footprints) was her first race back postpartum and continues to look forward to having family and friends join her to run/walk and raise money at this annual event!
Description
Donate to help [participant] raise money for Tiny Footprints 5K, Walk and TDD Kids Fun Run - NICU all proceeds will go to UMass Memorial Health and go to areas of biggest need for the NICU and to help cover the annual memorial service hosted at the hospital.
