My Story…

I walk and run to feel. I walk and run to heal. Every week it is my goal to run or walk for my mental health. I am an advocate for mental health awareness, and I want to be a part of the solution of removing the stigma. Won't YOU join me? By connecting the outdoors & nature to the endorphins that are released from movement I have been able to cope with my past trauma. I ran/walked my first half marathon in 12 years this past year. I never would have thought my journey to that finish line would take me in the direction I am headed now. I now use my voice with Still I Run as an ambassador and in general to invite others to walk or run with me every Saturday to Walk2Talk. Again join me in being a part of this opportunity to cultivate and support mental health.
