On Saturday, June 6th, 2026, Focus Africa, in conjunction with the Running Room will host the Focus Africa Run for Aids at St. Vital Park. The event will consist of a 5K Run and a 3/5K Walk. Net proceeds from the event will support Beacon of Hope (BOH) in Kajiado, Kenya. BOH is a multi-use facility/medical centre that provides HIV/AIDS-affected women and children with medical care, economic empowerment, education, and community-based care. Currently, Beacon of Hope programs are expanding to include grandmothers, youth, and the training of interns, as well as reaching out into neighbouring communities.
