Help Eva raise money

Evan was diagnosed at the age of 10. (Jan. 2020) He already knew about type 1 diabetes — his grandmother, who lived with them, had it too — but it was just two days after we buried her that he found out he had it as well, and that his life would never quite be the same. Like any other kid, he was terrified of needles. As his mother, it broke my heart, and I wished more than anything that it had been me instead of him. I have admired the man he has become and how well he has managed his type 1 diagnosis — the way he works to stay healthy and handles his highs and lows. My hope is that through the donations we receive, we will one day find a cure, so no other little boy or girl ever has to go through this.
