Please help me honor my Aunt Patty by supporting Cancer Champions! 

As you may know, my Aunt Patty passed away on Valentine's Day in 2021. She was an amazing woman, REALTOR®, aunt, mentor, and friend. She spent a good part of 2020 battling breast cancer for the second time, which resulted in her having a mastectomy and going through chemotherapy. She came through the treatments well, and successfully kicked cancer's butt for a second time...however, because she was so focused on fighting the cancer, she let her other health concerns go by the wayside, and ultimately, it was one of those issues that took her from us. 

I think if we had known about Cancer Champions and the support they offer to cancer patients and their families, Aunt Patty might still be with us today, because her focus wouldn't have been on just getting through treatments. Cancer Champions is a wonderful organization that focuses on 4 pillars: Nutrition, Exercise, Mindset, and Community. They believe every person facing cancer deserves comprehensive, compassionate support that honors the whole human, in body, mind, and spirit. Yes, cancer patients are fighting cancer, but they are so much more than that, and need the support to remind them that they are still whole and complete people. 

Because of their lean structure and unwavering focus on patient impact, 89.7% of every dollar goes directly to programming that supports cancer patients in their day-to-day lives. Some of the things that Cancer Champions offer are: personalized nutrition guidance and meal plans; more than 400 cancer-fighting recipes; personalized fitness programs; safe, oncology-informed exercise guidance; more than 120 accessible workout videos; mindset coaching lessons; guided meditations and breath work exercises; a team of experts who respond, guide, and cheer patients on every step of the way; and a private, supportive community space to ask questions, share wins, and connect with others.
