Help Sylvia raise money

Hi friends,

A few of you already know this, but many of you are hearing it for the first time. In March, just after my 50th birthday, I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer.

Since then, I’ve had surgery, started hormone therapy, and I’m scheduled to begin radiation on July 30. It’s been one of the hardest and scariest experiences of my life, but I haven’t had to face it alone.

Along with all of my family and friends, one of the greatest sources of support has been Cancer Champions. Through their program, I’ve been paired with a wonderful mindfulness coach who meets with me every week, a nutritionist who created a personalized meal plan, a fitness coach who designed workouts just for me, and a monthly walking group where I’ve met others who truly understand this journey. Their support has helped me care for not just my body, but also my mind and spirit.

Today, I’m asking for your help.

I’m participating in the Walk, Run & Roll fundraiser to support Cancer Champions so they can continue providing these life-changing services to people facing cancer.
