My Story…
This year, our family—Ron, Liam, Cooper, and I—are participating in Move for Melanoma Edmonton, completing the 3 KM in honour of Mary, who bravely fought but ultimately passed away from melanoma.
Mary’s strength, kindness, and love continue to inspire our family every day. We are walking and running together in her memory, while raising funds to help other families facing the same journey.
All funds raised through this event stay here in Alberta, dedicated to expanding patient support services and programs for those touched by melanoma, skin cancer, and ocular melanoma. These services provide resources, guidance, and community for families navigating the challenges of diagnosis and treatment—support that can make all the difference when it’s needed most.
By participating together as a family, we hope to honour Mary’s legacy and help ensure that others facing melanoma don’t have to face it alone. 💙
