My Story…
My sister, Jaclyn, was so much more than the way she died. In 2023, we lost her at just 30 years old to a fentanyl poisoning, and our family has never been the same. This year marks our third Run for Recovery since her passing. What began as a way to honor Jaclyn’s memory has become a mission to turn our pain into purpose. Through sharing her story, raising awareness, and supporting recovery programs, we hope to create something meaningful from an unimaginable loss. The Run for Recovery represents hope for those still struggling, for families who have experienced loss, and for the belief that recovery is possible. Every step we take is in memory of Jaclyn and in support of others whose lives have been touched by substance use. We run to keep her memory alive. We run to turn pain into purpose. We run for Jaclyn.
