My Story…
Addiction has stolen the lives of a few people who I love deeply. Stolen the breath away from one and the joy, purpose, relationships and health away from the others. Ive watched them change into people I don't recognize, while knowing the person who lives behind the fog of addiction. It's a helpless and brutally heartbreaking thing to witness and attempt to walk alongside. A year ago, we lost the breath of another for 6 minutes and somehow, his story wasn't done. Somehow, he got another chance. And he took it. I get to run with him and for the others who Ive lost and continue to pray for.
