Dear Friends and Family,

This year, I am asking for your support of the San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, an event that has taken on an even deeper meaning for our family.

In January, we lost my beloved father-in-law, Bill Doig. Bill was a man of quiet strength, unwavering determination, and a heart devoted to serving others. For years, he was a proud participant and passionate supporter of the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. 

He believed deeply in honoring the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001, and he never took for granted the courage and selflessness of those who continue to serve our communities every day.

Bill climbed not only to remember those heroes, but to ensure their legacy would never be forgotten. His dedication to this event reflected the kind of man he was—selfless, compassionate, and always willing to support a cause greater than himself.

This year, we climb in Bill's memory.
As we ascend the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, we will carry with us the memory of the firefighters who gave everything on 9/11, and the memory of Bill, whose life was defined by integrity, perseverance, and love for his family and community.

Funds raised through the San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb benefit FirefighterAid, an organization that provides critical financial assistance and support to firefighters and their families during times of need. Every donation helps continue Bill's legacy of honoring those who answer the call to serve.
