Volunteer for this event
Volunteer details
Package Pick-Up
Distribute race kits (bibs, shirts, swag) to participants before race day or at the start line. A friendly, organized role — perfect for welcoming runners, checking names off the list, and answering basic questions about the event.
Set Up
Arrive early to help transform the venue into a race-ready space. Duties include putting up tents, signage, tables, start/finish line materials, and aid stations. A great role for early risers who like to see a plan come together from the ground up.
Take Down
Stay after the race to help pack everything up — tents, signage, tables, leftover supplies — and load it for transport. An essential role that ensures we leave the venue exactly as we found it (or better).
Course Marshals – Help Along the Course
Stationed at key points along the route to cheer on runners, point them in the right direction, and keep the course flowing safely. No traffic control duties — just high-energy support, directional guidance, and a watchful eye for any participant who may need assistance.
Road Crossing Guards (18+)
Positioned at designated road crossings to safely manage participant flow across intersections. Volunteers must be 18 or older and comfortable communicating with both runners and drivers. A short briefing will be provided before the event covering protocols and signaling.
Garbage & Recycling – Clean-Up Duty
Help keep the course, start/finish area, and aid stations tidy throughout the event. Duties include collecting cups, sorting waste into garbage/recycling/compost, and a final sweep of the venue after the race concludes. An essential role for leaving our community spaces better than we found them.
Hand Out Medals at the Finish Line
One of the most rewarding spots! Greet finishers as they cross the line and place a medal around their neck. Smiles, high-fives, and congratulations strongly encouraged. A great role for those who love celebrating others' accomplishments.
Floater
The go-to problem solver. Floaters move wherever they're needed throughout the morning — covering breaks, filling gaps, jumping in on busy stations, or assisting the Race Director with last-minute needs. Flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude are key.
Social Media – Take Pics for SM
Capture the energy of the day! Take candid and posed photos of runners, volunteers, sponsors, and key moments (start line, finish line, course highlights) for use on our social media channels and post-race recap. A phone camera works perfectly — just be ready to move around and have fun with it.
