My Story…
Abbi is 3 years old and diagnosed with Level 3 Autism. She has an incredible ability to remember songs and stories and knows so many words but has difficulty communicating her wants and needs. She uses a speech-generating device to help her to communicate. Her favorite thing to ask for is chips.
Abbi learns best through watching other people do things either from YouTube videos or modelling actions and words for her to copy.
She loves animals, especially farm animals, dogs and cats. Abbi is so gentle with animals and has even been able to form a connection with her family's spicy cat who not many people can get close to.
Abbi is happiest when at home in her living room, when she is anywhere outdoors, or wherever there is a large area to run around.
Abbi's family is raising money for local programming and services, and to encourage autism awareness and acceptance.
