The work that Autism Nova Scotia does everyday is both important and essential in supporting the Autistic community in Nova Scotia. As part of ANS I witness regularly the positive impact of these programs All of this work requires regular funding which makes events like Walk Your Way an essential part of fundraising and keeping the good work going! As a parent of an autistic person I know first hand the challenges faced by autistic individuals and their families/caregivers and the need for this kind of support and sense of community.
