My Story…
I'd love for you to help support the fundraising for Child Youth & Advocacy Centre Simcoe Muskoka, a most worthy cause! I'll be racing in the solo category of the 8-hour Enduro event (as many times around the 5k loop as possible within the 8-hour time limit) ... and not only that, I'll be running the entire thing in costume since its on Oct. 31st!
Wondering what I'll be wearing? I'm dropping hints on my social media feeds over the next few weeks ... here are the hints so far:
1. "EVEN THOUGH I'LL BE RUNNING ON SINGLE TRACK, MY HEAD WILL BE ONE TOUGH NUT TO CRACK"
2. "SKI HILL TRAILS WILL BE TOUGH, THAT'S TRUE - BUT YOU CAN GET ANYTHING DONE WHEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT CREW"
3. "LOST IN THE WOODS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GET STUCK, BUT I'M SURE I CAN SCOOP MY WAY OUT EVEN FROM THE MUCK"
4. "IT’S A BEAUTIFUL TIME TO BE IN THE WOODS IN THE FALL, AND I’M NOT WORRIED ABOUT WINNING JUST HOW I DO OVERALL"
5. "WITH JUST A GOAL TO KEEP MOVING I WILL PRESS THROUGH TO THE FINISH - AND GETTING THE JOB DONE IS NOT NEW TO SOMEONE THIS BRITISH"
