Please help me raise funds towards a goal that is near and dear to my personal and professional life. Substance use disorders and mental illness continues to need more funding, empathy and creative treatment options. This year, your tax receipt for charitable donation goes to St. Joe's early intervention clinic for our youth. Everybody benefits when our youth are supported in their early days of challenges.
Description
I am participating in A Run for Chris in honour of Chris Owens. On August 20, 2021, at the age of 26, Chris lost his battle with mental health and substance use.
This year, we’re raising funds for St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic, which supports youth aged 16–35 experiencing early psychosis through a specialized interprofessional team.
Early intervention can make a life-changing difference—supporting recovery, independence, relationships, education, and employment.
