Pediatric cancer is something I’ve been passionate about for as long as I can remember, rooted in memory of a special childhood friend named Darren. That passion led me right into my career in pediatric oncology clinical trials, where I get to work on bringing cutting-edge treatments to children across Canada.This September, our family is stepping up to run and fundraise for families navigating the heavy reality of childhood cancer. We are walking (and skipping) in Darren’s memory, for the incredible brave kids I work to support every day, and to support the vital resources that help these families through their hardest times.
