My Story…

I am walking on October 24 which is “WORLD POLIO Day” in order to raise money for the Rotary International END POLIO NOW campaign. This initiative provides vaccinations worldwide wide to young children in order to prevent this paralyzing disease. I had polio in 1954 and know the importance of this effort to eliminate polio globally. Your donation will be matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation, which triples your impact!
