My Story…
At 32, my life changed in a way I never could have imagined. An AVM (arteriovenous malformation) in my brain stem ruptured, causing a massive stroke that doctors believed I would not survive. They told my parents there was little to no hope.
I fell into a coma that lasted 23 months. For nearly two years, my family lived with fear, uncertainty, and the possibility that I might never wake up. At one point, a doctor even told my mom to stop feeding me. But she refused. She never gave up on me, even when others had.
Then, against all odds, I woke up.
I was told that only 1% of people survive what I went through. Somehow, I became one of them. I am that 1%.
My story is a reminder that miracles can happen, that love can carry us through the darkest moments, and that you should never give up—even when the world tells you there is no hope.
