My Story…
I’m walking in memory of my dear friend Kim, who I lost 11 years ago, and a former student whose life ended far too soon at 16. I walk for their memories, for the people who love them, and for everyone who continues to struggle in silence.
The stigma surrounding mental health is still far too prevalent in today's society. We need to keep the conversations open, we need to listen without judgment, and everyday lead with kindness and compassion.
