This event aims to raise national awareness of the symbolism of the Poppy and provide potential funds through the 5K and poppy sales to assist the Veterans of WW1 & WW2 and their widows in need to help provide medical and administrative grants, adequate housing for those in need, emergency disaster funds, and support to the Legion in managing the affairs of their Veterans and widows.
