Help Jack raise money

This year, Jack is taking part in London Bridge’s Kids Helping Kids Walkathon — and I really love what this fundraiser teaches him. The idea behind it is incredibly simple: kids helping kids. For 35 years, children from London Bridge have walked to support families dealing with childhood cancer, raising money for ChildCan and Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario. Jack is still little, so he may not fully understand what childhood cancer means or just how difficult that journey can be for a family. But he can understand that sometimes other kids are going through something really hard — and that we can do something kind to help them. On September 29, Jack and his friends will walk together for those kids and their families. I’m proud that he gets to be part of something that teaches kindness, empathy, and that you don’t have to be grown up to make a difference.
